"Proform's Crosswalk Caliber Treadmill"

The selling point for the Crosswalk Caliber treadmill, over the other Proform models is the "upper body workout" feature.
Special upper body workout bars are provided, which allow a kind of cross between running/walking, and cross-country skiing.

For the purpose of this "initial" review, I will compare the crosswalk to what used to be Proform's top of the line model: the recently discontinued 1800 treadmill.

The Crosswalk Caliber vs
the Interactive Trainer 1800

The Crosswalk doesn't appear to be quite as heavy-duty as was the Proform 1800, since Proform promoted the "commercial grade" belt on the 1800, and not the Crosswalk.

The crosswalk caliber's track is also 1 inch narrower than the 1800's was, but that's still roomier than most home units. It also has only 2.75 horses, as opposed to 3, and tops out at 10mph, instead of 12. But it's over $1000 less, and it does have the total body workout feature.

Personally, I think the "total body workout" sounds like too much work, but for those who find this interesting, it does seem that the Crosswalk Caliber treadmill is a pretty good deal. It compares favorably to Proform's top models from the past, and is $1000 less.

I might include this model in my "test run" phase.

Stay tuned . . .

Thank you for reading this.
Sincerely,
