"Proform Treadmills"
Proform has virtually cornered the "low end" of the treadmill market. They have 13 treadmill models ranging in price from $399 to $999, with shipping ranging from $99 to $125. Proform sells other lines of fitness equipment, but treadmills are their "bread and butter".
If you are on a tight budget, and can't afford a $2000+ treadmill, there should be a Proform treadmill to meet your home fitness needs. But be carefull. While they offer some really good treadmills for around $1000, their lower end borders on junk, if you ask me. When they list a 300lb weight limit, that tells me they won't last long. I would avoid these machines.

Now, when I'm looking for my own treadmill, I have my needs in mind. My notes, though, will include my ideas about what might be appropriate for people with different needs, too.
Eventually, if some of the Proform treadmills seem to be contenders, I will find ways to take some of the models for a test run. At first, though, I will simply display a comparison of features, and will update it as I study other treadmill models.
